How we collect, use, and protect your data.
Last updated: April 20, 2026Qurutu ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Qurutu website and Chrome extension, which lets you capture web content directly to your Google Docs. By using Qurutu, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Account information: Email address, name, and Google account details for authentication.
Content data: Text, code, images, and source URLs you choose to capture — transferred directly to your Google Docs, not stored on our servers.
Technical data: Browser type, extension usage statistics, error logs, and IP address for security and performance.
Qurutu requests access to your basic profile (name, email), Google Docs (create and modify), and Google Drive files Qurutu creates or you explicitly open — nothing else.
Content is saved directly to your Google Docs via OAuth 2.0. We do not store your document content. You can revoke access at any time through your Google account settings.
All transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We use OAuth 2.0 for authentication and retain only what is necessary: account info until deletion, aggregated analytics up to 2 years, error logs up to 30 days. Captured content is not retained by us.
We do not sell your data. We share only with Google Services (as required by the product), trusted service providers under confidentiality agreements, and when required by law.
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact support@qurutu.com.
